I liked it better than the third episode. The third episode didn't feel like it was the same show. It's just the suicide section dragged on for a little too long. If people don't like episodic antics they don't like Gintama.
I was hoping for more comedy this week but yeah I guess theyre still doing "lessons". Next week with the other teachers should be much more fun hopefully

>>283352601This is definitely a show only for existing Gintama fans. They don't bother to explain the running gags you have to know that from the source material. Kondo loves Otae, Zenzou has hemorrhoids, Hedoro is scary, etc. I'm curious to know what Hamko's role is since she was pretty much only in Gintama's first actual "serious arc".

So it turns out all the stuff I said about it is bullshit and this is actually a pretty loyal adaptation. All the jokes are from the source material even the bag sticker jokes.

They just cut out the joke of Gintoki asking if Hata recorded girls changing with his hidden camera. This is pretty much it for translated chapters though. Overall the anime seems pretty loyal except for cutting out some dialogue and jokes.
