The insert song seemed to hint at Kaito obsessing over some past love, and what little dialogue Kaito had in that episode only hinted towards that theory. However, Kimi to Idol did end up more unpredictable than I expected once episode 17 came along, so I thought if the show were to veer onto the Kaito/Uta train for the final stretch, it would happen episode 31 (right after the Meroron arc) or soon after. However, the show veered hard into the Kaito/Jogi train there and then with 35 and 37 only making what was already obvious even more obvious.

Realistically, what can we do to save precure?The numbers are Super Sentai levels and animation must surely be more expensive than to just have a few guys jump around in suits with some special effects.Why couldn't Precure do Heartcatch levels of numbers again? I don't think the quality is that much worse.
