Shorter dump today. The finale is nicely compact.
Sweet as can be.
The most dedicated lawyer in human history.
Kyougoku's biggest flaw is that he's a fucking moron.
Someone must have liked Wakao a lot to let him join this op.
What a guy.
Just a stunning intellect on display.
Like a bowling ball.
A man can't even die alone, these days.
And our true finale.
I don't think this testimony is that trustworthy.
The page more than any other that made me want to storytime this.
At least she got a good ending. Until it turns out that Kyougoku's ghost possessed her infant.
Finished. HE∀DS to me is one of the best short serializations out there. Telling a story that wraps up all its details very nicely and doesn't overstay its welcome or drag out the conflict. Kyougoku as a villainous presence is one aspect I quite like. He's not some type of evil genius or great schemer. He was an emotionally unstable and violent idiot with a lot of mental issues who happened to end up being used as experimental material for some immortality research for the wealthy. No more important than having inconvenient personality traits for maintaining the confidentiality of the program. I hope everyone that followed along enjoyed and that you all have a good Halloween. Do you plan to go out with a bang, or a whimper?
>>283413740is this a Luigi Mangione reference?
>>283414278Thanks OPReally great manga not very spooky for halloween but still great, should i read Homunculus after this?also Megu best Girl
>>283414576You're right that it wasn't really a 'scary' comic. But it still fit the season. The Drifting Classroom is an underappreciated classic, if you want something more focused on the horror. It surprises me what they could get away with back then.Homunculus was a great series. Someone posted it a while back, so I don't want to repeat them, but it is definitely worth reading. But it is undoubtedly weird.
have a bump
>>283412581We are so back... for now.

>>283414278Thank you for posting.
bump in the night
>>283414576Megu's suffering was like seeing a puppy get kicked repeatedly. It hurt.
>>283420319
>>283414278Not bad, the Megu suffering really hurt to read. I didn't get why Jun's personality was being erased though, was it the right hemisphere taking over? Any neurobros can explain? The Naoko arc was the dumbest thing I've seen admittedly.
Are there other manga that deal with "2 guys in one head" problem? Emphasis on the psychological/relationship aspect. Hare Yuku Sora by Jiro was a good read but it's not even translated in English. I hope a group eventually picks that up.
>>283415932Arigato.
>>283424128She was just a lying slut that wanted to control him by seducing and fucking him and keeping him placated, but didn't expect him to be so totally paranoid and dangerous. She didn't take his claims seriously, until his hands were around her throat.
>>283424128It seems like the surgery was always designed with the brainwashing in mind. The transplanted mind was meant to be the one that took control from the start. But the intention was to move most of a dying rich guy's brain into the body of a young person, and totally overwrite the original so the rich guy could avoid dying (in so far as that means the original is still alive). In Jun's case, the test study was done with a tiny sliver of brain material, so the colonization was slow and awkward. And the donor was an unstable and violent psycho, who no one expected to be so unhinged and uncontrollable. If it had been the original planned donor, and not Kyogoku, then the story probably wouldn't have happened. Jun would have had his mind taken over by a mild-mannered and meek man who didn't want to cause trouble.
