Its a coinflip whether or not you and your loved ones could die horribly by a random Devil attack, of course people aren't going to live and act as if they were raised in a peaceful society.Himeno's just one of those people like the rest of the cast, her flirty and bubbly persona is quite obviously a front for the fact she's a traumatised woman who's lost countless people in her line of work. I think people over-estimate her emotional maturity, considering she quite literally breaks down like a child in front of Aki when she couldn't think of a way out of the hotel. Again, it doesn't mean what she did with Denji wasn't wrong- she admits it herself, but the point is, I think it's far more interesting to look at all the factors that make a character what they are instead of grossly dumbing them down to make a character and their fans look bad.

i checked out the manga briefly after some time and the biggest problem with adapting is the breakneck pace, it takes 5 minutes for insane plot progressionthe director deliberately tried to slow the tempo down and make it different than the manga, and the result is that a lot of people were dissatisfiedto be honest i'm thinking this series just isn't a good fit for an anime adaptation, just like most series for older audiences don't get anime, although this one has mass appeali'd honestly just leave it alone, but fujimoto is happy he got 7 million more sales for free from the anime promotion

Part One met success because it was charming, and because it was funny, and it had the shounen action to back it up -- part two is missing all three of these elements and it's got nothing to make up for it. There is lots of other fiction that explores DID-type disorders-- did Fuji even think to take a leaf out of the book of someone who did it right? clearly fucking not. Yoshida? Denji is the only character here to give a shit about and not because he's particularly full of depth but because he's at LEAST continuing his character arc from part one. And if we examine the arc and villains that Fujimoto clearly and intentionally rehashed from Part 1, you can immediately tell that he stopped pouring his heart into when it comes to both - the art as well as the story. The arc that just concluded had so much fat that could have been trimmed (pointless devil hunter members, all that boring dialogue etc.) and what was supposed to be the big pay off or climax in the last chapter, ended up being a rushed unimpactful event. Let's face it, this is almost certainly happening one way or another, the only question is how and why. My guess is that one of the rules is something along the lines of "Don't touch Nayuta's stuff" and to the little control devil, Denji = her stuff. I've got this funny image in my head of them all sitting down to watch the movie and its basically Denji + Nayuta on his lap + all the pets in front of the TV, then Asa way off to the side where she can't even see. Another potential thing I could see happening is Nayuta attempting to control Asa and failing, possibly because of War. This could then lead to the Asa/Yoru duo guessing either that she is a devil or that she is specifically another sister of war's, the control devil. It's only possible because is share your brain."both of those statements show that Yoru would feel nothing for the destroying the aquarium, and the spear would have been a weak weapon as a result, and the same goes for the potential of the Denji sword. She frankly needs Asa or any relatively empathetic human to feel the guilt for her in these instances otherwise she could not even begin to make make powerful weapons for herself.So either Yoru has more powers or ways to bypass this limitation possibly lost in her fight against Pochita before, hidden depths we have not yet explored where she does feel real and significant guilt, or she has a need for Asa more than she is willing to admit outright with out here she is almost powerless.
What's happening
So we all know Yoru wants to kill CSM but why? The answer is simple. She doesn't want to be forgotten. If the war is no longer feared, then Yoru will be forgotten and she will disappear. Therefore, she wants to kill CSM so that he somehow spit out the devils she needs. But will it really work? Where is the guarantee that those devils did not disappear forever after being swallowed by the CSM? And according to Yoru herself, this devil cannot just die like that. In the end, he was killed many times and still he came to life again and again. Based on the words of the horsemen of the apocalypse familiar to us, the CSM cannot die and has the ability not only to quickly regenerate, but also to resurrect himself without the help of a chainsaw cord. But why? The thing is that most likely the Devils were afraid of CSM and their fear grew into fanaticism and confidence that CSM could not die. It's kind of a placebo effect.In other words, fear and fanaticism gave CSM strength and ability to exist. But is fear really that important to the existence of devils?I think not. It has already been shown more than once that the devils are not alien to kindness and love. And the final act with Nayuta in the first part proved to us that devils are actually not so different from people.In my humble theory, Ashley will help her (Yoru) learn to love herself and others. And Dennis will give her a chance to exist without relying on fear. Namely, he will offer Yoru to become a superheroine. Because CSM clearly proved that fear is not needed for existence. And if you become a hybrid, then the threat of being forgotten is no longer a threat.Everything is pretty simple. The author himself has repeatedly touched on the topic of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. So it is logical to assume that the main event of the second part will be the Apocalypse.

Almost none of them have enough to animare everything to the best level, so they allocate resources to the most important parts depending on a show, and for action series it should be obvious that the focus is on the action. This allocation is what defines certain studios for me, SHAFT and TRIGGER have interesting ways of working around this issue and I'd argue what even earns there style. Anime has always been lower budget compared to western counterparts, so the only way this industry grew was by getting accustomed to this balance, and for the truly great ones even making their directorial style around it. For CSM, it truly is one of the few TV anime which I'd say really did have enough resources to dedicate to all scenes. So yes, a lot individual shots are technically impressive, but what really broke the experience was the lack of cohesion. From the mix of CG and 2D, the obviousness to which shots were made by different animators, no more general things like how the EDs heavily contrasted with the rest of the show and recaps were reanimated for no reason. The thing is, different styles isn't a necessarily bad thing, can work really well if intentional, but for the supposed grounded attempt by the director, it just didn't work out. I still have no idea why CG was used, it's clear they had the manpower for everything else, and it really didn't blend well. Great CG that season was in Bocchi and PopTeamEpic S2, just due to how subtle it was, or currently this season Trigun Stampede, where because they're doing everything in it it's also consistent as well. This inconcistency, from animation styles to directing styles, while ambitious, really didn't fit the landing in most eyes.

So this is my personnel theory that Chainsaw Man only eats those devils who are exceedingly strong and cause an unbalance in the world, and without them the world would be much more stable. For example the Nuclear Weapon devil, in my eyes it has to be stronger than the Gun Devil , who is already sub-continental level in terms of power for raw destruction, which would make Nuclear Weapons devil possibly planetary which would then mean that it could've eradicated the whole human race if it wanted to. The other devils mentioned like AIDS, NAZI, WORLD WAR 2 etc could have also been as powerful as the Nuclear devil that's why they were erased too. Another way to look at this is like Pochita thought that humans having 5 senses would benefit them and the nature better so he ate the 6th sense devil, or having 4 more conclusion than death at the end of a living being's life span was too unnecessary, or even the star which broke children's mind was too needlessly catastrophic. So, in simple terms, these devils who exist on earth are too dangerous to be kept alive and their concepts aren't important towards nature either, so chainsaw man ate them. But by this logic you could say that Primal Devils should be also then erased, but first of all they are always in hell and second of all they represent important concepts like darkness (absence of light), fire (combustion in environment), Death (inevitable end of anything) etc so chainsaw man doesn't eat them as without these, the world would be a mess. It could also represent Chainsaw man as the ultimate hero of this dread, devil-imbedded universe who with his special abilities always saves the world no matter who the devil is. I saw a lot of people talk about why chainsawman Anime didnt blow up the manga sales as much as some other anime did. My thoughts .Its a niche anime , someone who usually watches Demon slayer , One peice and Naruto wont develop a taste suddenly for mature anime.Plus the first arc is the most boring arc in CSM . It isnt as gripping as the latter arcs .Also , The fight scenes are very less and very short . Not the usual Long , character based fights chock full of emotion .Compare that to CSM squad vs eternity devil or denji vs bat devil etc .which weren't as impactful as some other fights .Also , all the usual tropes of anime like a training arc, team bonding arc, team vs team arc etc were skipped . So even the main characters like Power and Makima Arent fully fleshed out juts yet and it will take them till the Hell arc to really get close to our hearts .Side characters - Fujimoto has ruthlessly killed off side characters (I'm grateful to God that Kobeni is still Alive)in Part 1. We even see her proving this to herself a couple of times.Yoru, similarly, can turn anything she believes she owns into a weapon She didn't need the deed to the aquarium, she simply needed to make an exchange that satisfied herself.Famine trigger should be similar, the first time we see her she ask if Asa wants her help, the second time she affirms (so, she believes) that Asa will not be able to transform Denji into a weapon without her help. So Maybe that is Famine trigger, she needs to believe that her interference is needed.

I think after a betrayal on this scale they really owe all anime fans an apology. Not only did they alienate all core readers of the original manga with this fraudulent anime adaptation, but they also straight-up LIED when they said that this would be an "ultimate adaptation".In case you haven't heard about this yet, director Ryu Nakayama is currently turning into a meme in Japan with anime fans and fans of the original manga mocking him all around the internet for his poor adaptation and questionable direction choices. They also started calling him "Nakayama 1735", referencing the poor performance of the Blu-Ray sales. The amazon page of the CSM Blu-ray is full of 1-star review bombs from angry fans who feel betrayed by Mappa for hiring a complete rookie and letting him run rampant in this adaptation by giving him far too much freedom and allowing him to create his own version of the source material instead of just doing what he's supposed to do. This is also the reason why sales were so bad and the anime underperformed.If Mappa really wants us to trust them ever again they need to apologize first and replace the director with someone who has actually read the manga. Before exposing my prediction I want to explain what I think happened at the end of chapter 119.Nayuta's "Thief" don't refer to Asa/Yoru stealing Denji but to Yoru stealing Asa's body.> Based on the fact that in a previos chapter are shown multiple birds overwatching Asa and Yoru discuss and that Control Devil can see through lower life form eyes I think Nayuta already know Asa is possesed by War.Nayuta's control chain attack is not directed at Yoru/Asa shared body but specifically to Asa's half of brain.> In part 1 is shown that Makima/Control Devil connects to its "slaves" with a chain attached to their abdomen so is strange that now Nayuta's chain is directed to Asa's head instead.Nayuta's move have stopped Yoru's control over Asa. Nayuta is now in control of her.> During the kiss scene until right before being chained Yoru's face show signs of imbarassment despite her being emotionless. I interpreted that as Asa's feeling being expressed through her body. But as soon as she get connected those signs are gone. The thing about the 1,735 sales is that, under normal circumstances, 1,735 sales are actually a good number in the streaming era. Many shows that were popular didn't even come close to said numbers (a good recent example being Kanojo, Okarishimasu). In addition, some shows that sold even less than that still got new seasons (including the aforementioned Kanokari, but also series like Nagatoro, Shadows House, Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear, and Tensei shitara Ken deshita). Normally, 1,735 sales would be considered at least decent, not a failure.However, Chainsaw Man is different. The most important thing to remember here is that, unlike the aforementioned shows and indeed most anime, Chainsaw Man did not have a production committee. Instead, the anime was funded primarily by MAPPA. From what we know about production committees, streaming is important to the committee as a whole but less so for studios, who often aren't even in the committee at all. This means they rely more on their fixed payments and disc sales. Given that a studio this time was the main backer of the anime, this obviously means that BD/DVD sales are disproportionately more important here than they would with other series.Another important thing to remember is that those other series had nowhere near the amount of advertising and promotions that CSM did. CSM was heavily promoted with advertisements, billboards, online ads, and so on. The people behind it had very high expectations for the anime, to the point that their event's venue had an unusually large capacity for an anime event. I think it's still possible that Denji likes Asa and still didn't meet the qualifications for making a weapon.So what we know is that in Chapter 99 Yoru stated "I have the power to turn what's mine into weapons." She then immediately presumes "If [someone] fell for me, it would make him mine, no?" I think this wording has some relevant implications.First, in relation to Denji's romantic feelings, this may imply that Denji would have to fall for Yoru. Asa and Yoru may share the same body but are still distinct 'persons'. Consequently, I think the most we can say whether he's 'fallen' for Yoru is either a hard no or ambiguous because Denji only knows Asa, not Yoru. The ambiguity is whether Yoru sharing a body with Asa 'counts' towards Yoru's capacity to make weapons. Therefore, even if Denji did have romantic feelings for Asa, it wouldn't meet the condition needed for Yoru to turn Denji into a weapon since Yoru is the one who made the attempt. The ambiguity, then, is whether there is a point at which the two sharing a body 'counts' for Yoru or if it is even possible at all.Second, even if Denji's romantic feelings 'count', another presumption of Yoru is that falling for her romantically will result in that person 'being hers'. A possibility is that Fujimoto is exploring the difference between someone 'possessing' a thing (like Asa purchasing an aquarium) versus belonging to someone romantically. In regards to the animal-coding of the two main characters in Chainsaw Man, one cannot help but wonder what direction it may take. The character of Denji has always been associated with the traits of a dog; his loyalty, contentment with simple pleasures, rough upbringing on the streets, and tendency to be mistreated. This portrayal of his character continues in Part Two of the manga, but takes a new turn as he takes on a leadership role amongst the other animals in his apartment, providing for a child, and responsibly (though sometimes irresponsibly) making money. The fact that he bounces back hard from suggestions of being controlled or limited adds further depth to his canine-like qualities.On the other hand, Asa's character does not seem to have a clear association with any specific animal, despite early hints of birds, specifically chickens, and her connection to Bucky. While she may exhibit some cowardice and lack of confidence, it is more a result of her low self-worth and anti-social tendencies. Her story arc centers more around her internal struggle with navigating morality and her own lack of principles, as seen in her actions to save Yuko and her inability to turn in Denji at the aquarium. Despite this lack of clear animal association, Asa is still considered one of the most well-written, realistic, and compelling characters in Chainsaw Man.It is somewhat odd that Asa does not have the same strong association with an animal as Denji does, especially since the animal motifs play such a big role in shaping Denji's character. Her powers appear to at least partially be mentally based as she is able to isolate Yoru from Asa.The interesting points here are 2 and 3 as I believe they are the strongest evidence we have that she is definitely tied (I say probably disguised) to the other devil at school. The Justice Devil.What we know about the Justice Devil:-It gives essentially free contracts (Fami revives Yuko for no cost that we know off)-It seems to be following Asa (so is Fami) only making its contract with Yuko after she has spent time with Asa.-Is able to grant mental powers to others (Fami directly removes Yoru from Asa’s mind, and seems to easily be able to read people)-Seems to grant wishes specifically to people with less than moral reasons. Could it be possible that Pochita is the "Hero Devil"? It sounds absurd but think of all the heroic tendencies that Pochita possesses. He would always answer to cries for help as shown with Makima and Kobeni (even if he does accidentally kill the devils he helps because he wants to hug them), he seems to be pretty immortal as Makima states that devils would beat him but always return with a roar of his engine and we can even see him rip his out heart and regenerate very quickly from that heart, and there's the matter of his title "The Hero of Hell". We’ve seen that Makima’s control can be broken, so it might be possible that once Makima is gone, Reze becomes her former-self and meets with Denji which in turn ignites Nayuta’s possessiveness.Why would Reze stay in Tatsuki Apartment? I believe that there’s a reason for that. At the end of her arc, Reze seems to make up her mind about escaping together with Denji, so it is possible that she might want to quit her job as Soviet spy. Kishibe knowing this offers her a shelter of sort. She may or may not want to involve with Denji any further, but a peaceful life from her motherland might be an enough incentive for her to stay.Also, a weird apartment where a hybrid with extreme personality co-exist together can be pretty interesting.Of course, there’s only four rooms in the building, but there might be a roommate system in place or some might decline the offers and go back to wherever they want.Hey, this is my theory. RE: Makima returning1. There's nothing saying past life memories can't be recovered2. Nayuta's entrance in chapter 119 was pretty much teasing the very idea that Makima was back. Don't be so quick to dismiss it as a mere fake-out. Any self-respecting storyteller puts a ton of importance on how they introduce their characters.3. Everything about Nayuta in chapter 120 screamed "I'm not Makima!", which tells me that Denji did a wonderful job at raising her to not be Makima 2.0. What do you think would be the greatest tragedy that could possibly befall on someone like that? Is it death? No. It'd be her reverting to Makima, as it would be the very thing Denji's been trying to avoid all this time. Do you really think Fujimoto would be able to resist such an idea?4. Power's last moments with Denji teased the idea of restoring memories and bringing a past self back. A promise between dear friends like that isn't something you can just drop on a narrative level. The idea of Power coming back isn't one you can just dismiss, and if she can, then so can Makima.Ultra-schizo thought: If you believe in Fight Club, then consider that Makima could already be living in Nayuta's head as a tulpa not unlike Yoru with Asa. Remember that if that was the case, since Makima is a lot more intelligent than Yoru, she would also be much more subtle about it and would be far better at masking her presence, especially since Nayuta lives with Denji with whom Makima's already had a history. Also, what if Nayuta's braid was a desperate attempt to clue Denji in on what's going on?

Yoru describes this as love in the new chapter, but I don't think it's necessarily being in Love, at least yet, so much as a mixture of that admiration and the warm feeling of knowing that someone still likes her for who she is despite all her negative qualities. May be proven wrong today though. I love watching these two interact, not out of any expectation about how it's going to turn out but just seeing the interplay between them. It really activates my neurons or whatever.
Chainsaw man is one of my favorites (if not my favorite) medias of all time, but it only clicked today as to why, and that is because dennis is just that, dennis. Unlike many other protagonists, specially shonen, dennis stands out because he is just a regular guy, obviously if we ignore the chainsaw part, unlike other characters he isn't part of an extremely powerfull bloodline, he isn't the reincarnation of a god or something, he isn't even a trained soldier or whatever, the only talent the guy has is that his head has a few screws loose and a chainsaw comes out of it, and that's the special part, he is just human, nothing else, he just needs himself to be interesting and i appreciate him more because of it.I came to the realization thanks to part 2 and specifically Asa, whom i also adore, she is the perfect complement to denji, if he was the brooding part of every teenager she is the akward "kill me please" part, and she is also just a normal girl, ignoring the turning people into weapons part, the great thing about their relationship is that they just see each other and nothing else, Denji sees a weird, possibly autistic, girl who is interesting, and Asa sees a chainsaw man fanboy who also is kinda interesting. I imagine Death is going to be a situation similar to the Angel Devil, but slightly different. The Angel Devil sucks the life force out of people, but he ultimately can still interact with them and you can survive touching him by accident occasionally, hell, if you really wanted too, you could hug him for a moment or something if you were that desperate.I think Death will be an extreme version of that. Death not only instantly kill anyone who comes into contact with them (short of other absurdly OP characters like the Darkness Devil), but also probably cause death just by being somewhere.So, even if they decided to live in a neighborhood and not ever touch anyone, the very fact that they are there, will cause people to die, if they walked through a beautiful garden or field of wheat ready to be harvested, it would all wither and die around them, whether intended or not. People, even if they don't touch them, would suddenly start to feel weak and perish in a short amount of time. Any form of death will start to happen more frequently, accidents, illnesses, aging, etc. All of it suddenly becomes a lot more prominent in the area.It could be that, Death's power, knowing Fujimoto's desire make his characters suffer, makes it so that, the more Death cares for someone, the more affected by Death's power they become. So, if Death actually loves someone, be it romantically or platonically, they would die faster if not just straight up immediately.

I believe, had Marceline never existed, died or something like that, PB could have turned full Makima. Granted, we see much more emotion from PB, but that could be exactly because of Marceline. Every other romantic/sexual interaction with women he had before failed because they were not right for him for a variety of reasons, which most of the time included him getting killed. But from each one he grew, subtly, because Fuji keeps character growth light and realistic.He learned/is learning/will learn that there's more than looks (Kobeni), that he can be more than a sex toy (Himeno), to place boundaries (Reze and Makima), to take it slowly and that deep mutual respect and self care is important for a happy relationship, although it's not the only ingredient neeeded (Power).He, just like Fuji, still has an attraction towards dominant women, but doesn't want to be used/abused anymore. Asa was made purposefully to convey all of this and give the reader the feeling that is absolutely possible for Denji satisfy his dream with her.This doesn't mean it will actually happen in the manga, there are countless ways to make it go all wrong, but Fuji deliberately created her to make the reader think this.All the parallels and contrasts are intentional. It's the central theme of the manga and mentioned explicitely in a lot of chapters.Just like the repetition of events from part 1, and the Copycat Devil / Fakesaw Man.
I am 100% sure the intention that Aki would have romantically been involved with Himeno if not for Makimas powers.That’s the point of the image linked, Aki doesn’t know why he likes her, Angel doesn’t know how she saved him, then she literally forces Aki to make the contract pages later. Everyone but a handful of characters that either are special cases or have had no contact/attention of Makima are at risk of being manipulated.This is ain’t typical shonen where Aki misses his old partner and is just sad she died. It’s for sure that too, but this and the next chapter turns the relationship from unrequited love, Himeno protecting Aki in the end. To Aki almost certainly loving her back but never had the chance to realize it and, not because he is teehee stupid dense baka, but because of direct manipulation that alters his mind.And that is what makes it even more tragic. Himeno dies, never having Aki how she wants him, not even having an idea that how her feelings might be returned. Just for us, not Himeno and not Aki, to find out that there is a significant chance the feeling would have been mutual if it were not for Makima. And while Aki’s overall fate in the next few chapters is abundant in tragedy, it’s more focused on Dennis, friends fighting to the death.But Aki didn’t exactly get the chance to realize anything, chapter 74 is the last of Aki in reality.
So in chapter 65, Beam is giving Denji blood and pulling his ripcord to wake up him so he can maybe fight the Darkness Devil. After he does this he says, "Lord Chainsaw... please revive... And grant our wish..."This could mean a lot of things, though I feel like the line's often overlooked.MakimaSo we know that Makima is a fanatic, but was never quite aligned with Chainsaw Man. Her goals were simply her own in the end, but we know for a fact that she stood with the other Horsemen to fight Chainsaw Man in the battle that would lead to him regressing into Pochita and being found by Denji.We know that the Shark Devil, and likely others like those set to kneel at his return at the end of Part 1, are followers of Chainsaw Man. If Beam is any indication, they love him. Makima wouldn't be part of this group, however, but would be a sort of sympathizer. We know that at least one of the Horsemen, being Yoru, wants him dead straight up, and seemingly has no interest in using his power for her own purposes, nor is affiliated with Makima as of now, but at least knew her once upon a time, being sisters and all.So from this we can infer that the Horsemen and the Weapon Humans gathered to kill CSM, but Makima was a traitor—scheming in the background to use her abilities to control him rather than end his reign outright, if that was the goal. If she got what she wanted, she likely would've used CSM's power to turn on the Horsemen right then and there or sometime sooner, but he managed to escape before she could. At least, as far as it seems based on what we know.

Himeno was still a central character who had interactions with not just Denji but also Aki, and the latter's arc was tightly connected to her character. Yuko for example only interacts with Asa, and even then her death was not only unimpactful, but she just makes you scratching why we even spent all that time with her. I never got that feeling with Himeno, even if I do agree that her death was a bit rushed. Then you have the general banter and fun interactions in the hotel rooms with all the characters involved. If you compare that to the Aquarium chapters, even though Yoshida and Haruta were present, they really felt out of place. And the entire interaction between Asa and Denji was practically rendered meaningless after the memory wipe in the last chapter. Can't say much about Kobeni or Arai because they were clearly designated meme tier characters (and even then, they were more interesting to watch then part 2 comedic reliefs)>What the gun devil pieces? You only say this because you have the power of hindsight, but even assuming that, Gun devil was still an important part of the story and worked as an effective McGuffin that the reader could look forward to. His arc arguably gave birth to some of the best peak moments in the entire story. Besides that, Ch13 makes a reference to the Town mouse fabel, a long way before it's retold in full and firmly established as the manga's Central Theme. Furthermore, Denji realizes that the Eternity Devil is scared of his chainsaws because in spite of his power, he's counting on the other Devil Hunters to kill Denji for him. Because in spite of outclassing him in size, Eternity like a lot of other Devils is obviously still scared shitless of being eaten and erased by the Chainsaw Man. Part 2 has none of that.

Do all Devils have some innate desire to be deleted, so Chainsaw Man eating all of them and erasing fear itself from existence is some kind of positive thing? Probably not, but it's fun to think on.There's def something there that I feel like we're close to learning given Part 2 seems to lean on the lore established in Part 1 much more. Meeting more Horsemen, getting a few more scarce details about the battle that led to Pochita's injury, mention of Death, etc. I don't think it'll get too high-concept to where it stops being especially approachable, but I also think that the dream Beam was talking about will factor into the true finale of the series, or at least some kind of penultimate thing.
Chain saw man has proven to be so great, that a single message cannot convey the sheer brilliance of it. Regardless, I will try my hardest to convey the core concepts, that reveal CSM to be the greatest piece of fiction on this planet. To understand CSM one needs to explore the darkest and deepest secrets of heroism. To appreciate CSM is impossible in this post modernist type of society. Like many masterful pieces of fiction, such as, 1984, Macbeth, The Odyssey, Lord of The Flies, The Illiad & many others, it takes time to truly be unanimously appreciated by the true critiques. CSM cannot be fully appreciated until decades upon decades, centuries upon centuries and millennia upon millennia have passed.To have at least a partial understanding of CSM, one must display a very high IQ. With this high intellect they must scavenge the depths of philosophy listed to Schrodinger, Faraday, Democritus, Newton, Aquinas, Aristotle, Socrates, Machiavelli, Rawls, Locke, Kant, Plato, Mises, Hobbes, Russel, Rousseau, Derrida, Ivo Andric, among many others, to grasp a mediocre understanding of the genius that is CSM.I spend all my time researching ancient masterpieces such as, The Epic of Gilgamesh, Mtamorphosis, Tain Bo Cuailnge, The brothers Karamazov, and countless others to understand the complex characterization of many characters in CSM. Fujimbo is a pure genius, the amount of depth all the characters have is just, so, astonishing. No other writer has completed this very high standard of a feat before.Every sentence Fujimbo writes, isn't just a sentence, but an industry changing event. He shows us the true nihilism of the world through CSM. Chainsww man is no mere story, but a reality interpreted from a piece of literature. It shows the darkness and the struggles of realism (Ex. Denji vs Aki47). With all this said, Fujimbo has far surpassed George Orwell.
So, do y'all remember that first fiend that Denji encounters? Aki asks him to transform into Chainsaw Man but Denji just quickly kills the fiend with an axe. Denji gives the excuse that he sympathized with the demon, not wanting him to suffer. Aki storms off angrily or whatever, and then Denji reveals that he actually just didn't want to spill blood on the porn magazines.The way I saw the event above was that his excuse, given to Aki, was actually the main reason for his action. He truly did sympathize with the devil. However, he lies to himself giving the porn magazine excuse instead. Like, sure, he probably did want the porn too but I don't see it as the main reason. I think he's just used to taking advantage of situations like this(as shown when he's asked to eat a cigarette for money), and that's what his mind did automatically, but he felt for the fiend too.An event that happens later on that kind of reaffirms this interpretation is the quest for Meowy. Denji heavily sympathizes with Power's loss of Meowy, wondering how she felt whenever she would go to sleep without her cat. BUT, as soon as the Bat Devil is defeated, he makes it all seem like it was all done for fondling her breasts.I just get the impression that, because of the way he was living beforehand, Denji's mind automatically goes to something that's "useful" for him. Deep down, though, he has other, more human, motives.

Unless you believe FC theory, the only reason I can fathom is that she has been analyzing Asa for quite some time and realizes she is an apt candidate to maximize Yoru's power via guilt - which she needs for some unknown purpose. The main flaw in this line of thought however, is that Yoru is not working with Kiga in any way. So Yoru falling in line with her machinations and just so happening to be at the right place and right time when Prez "killed" Asa, just reeks too much of contrivance. I hope for an explanation of some sort.
