Has there ever been a show with faster pacing? I wanted to like this shit, but the way it jumps from one plot point to then next feels like they were trying to cram 3 books into one episode.

Yeah they're really fucking this show with the pacing. It's too bad, because it's a cut above most isekai - the way the other classmates have agency of their own and actually use their unique skills appropriately, in stead of being wholly dependent on or inferior to the MC, is neat, for example.

So far it was in line with manga's pacing, with jumpcuts everywhere. I do think this has some okayish story. What a shame...
