>avoids the unlucky number like the plague>livesIt's that simple also JoJo thread
>>283449719I read part 5 recently and it's hands down my favorite part of Jojo. I just love how everyone stuck together, everyone did their part protecting Trish, and how chaotic the entire journey was. When Narancia died it was genuinely sad but was surprised Fugo didn't stick together with the gang. He seriously bailed on his friends when they needed him the most?
>>283449938>He seriously bailed on his friends when they needed him the most? His story continues in a sequel novel. His stand evolve too
>>283449719but what happens when he turns 44?
>>283450165Coma
>>283450165Giorno uses Gold Experience Requiem on him to never allow him to reach that age.
>>283449938Supposedly he was intended to side with the boss and they would have to kill him but Araki decided it would be too sad.Anyway I like that he drops out, it's more reaslitic to have 1 guy be hesitant than everyone being all in.
>>283449938>is the best adapted part in your pathwhy did DP expend so much effort solely on it?
>>283449938Yeah I assumed Fugo was going to do a Han Solo and only realized after it was over 'Huh, he actually just walked out of the story huh'And speaking of I was disappointed we didn't see more of International Stand Investigator Koichi>>283450986Who asked for realism in Jojo
>>283449719imagine the smell
>>283449938>He seriously bailed on his friends when they needed him the most?It was either that or him turning out to be a traitor.
>>283451044>is the best adapted part in your pathBut the post wasn't about Stardust Crusaders?
>>283450986True, though I don't much like his reasoning as 'why would I risk my life for some girl I barely know', when it should be that he's risking his life for Buccellati (and what he believed in), who saved him from jail/a life on the streets + the other members of the group like Giorno and Abbacchio who had already risked their lives explicitly to save HIM.
>>283452431I'm still pissed that the anime cut Mista and Narancia chasing the frogs, it was cute and funny.
>>283449719>avoids the unlucky number like the plague>livesIs this a mechanism?
>>283452023>i was disappointed we didn't see more koichiWords that have never been arranged in this order before.
>>283452535I miss when stands were just punch ghosts.
>>283453013It'd be nice if a balance were kept but I understand why Araki moved away from "punch ghost with (x) extra ability" for the most part, it just ends up being more interesting when a stand user needs to rely on a more indirect/unique power and think about how to use it in more varied situations.Though it definitely can go a bit too far in the other direction, where the power is just so strange and specific that the fight feels like it was tailored JUST so the enemy user would be viable in it, and nowhere else.
I’ve read parts 1-7 a few times but for some reason I never touched 8 (or 9)Are they worth reading?
>>283453631Jojolion is generally considered the lowpoint, but it IS more Jojo if you're feeling famished for more
>>283449719Kek
Yes
>>283449938I never liked part 5 for some reason. Probably has something to do with poor translations, but also the monster of the week formula, which somehow worked much better back in part 3. The cast wasn't charismatic enough and their abilities weren't used nearly enough to really shine.
