"Supernatural hunting organization where everyone gets a bespoke power and the there are a Gotei 13 analogue". Was being done for years prior and will continue to be done for years to come. This isn't a knock on Demon Slayer, it's just stating the fact that it's part of an already well established Shonen sub-genre.

Two tone hair colors are an easy way to make a character stand out, which is becoming more of a necessity since the total pool of anime characters increases by the day. I don't imagine Mitsuri would be nearly as recognizable as she is if she was a pure pinkshit girl with no green.

People like Urokodachi , zenitsu’s master, rengoku’s father etc.. were all pillars who have never met a single upper moon during their whole lives, at best fought some lower moons and that’s it.
