The only people I have seen misunderstand the content of the show or struggle with it are women and normally iits in the same way as the schizos, who are unable to differentiate the values of the show from their own personal beliefs except as a confirmation there of. They do not see, for example, a flawed character like sayaka and reflect on their own behavior, nor understand she is meant to be superhuman in morals (so that there is no doubt that even that level of true believer cant make it). they cannot see how her journey can be representative of a very male experience of fighting for something that is ignored, given away, and mocked in that order, followed by a swift death. This kind of character can be analyzed but people don't need to do that. It's obvious shes a justice fag, it's obvious that her purity in mind and action is the cause of her misfortune. Unless you have some kind of feminist brain rot culture war going on in your head it's also very obvious whom this character is meant to represent in the drama. Madoka is a show that works so well because the audience doesn't need to dive 3deep 5(you) to understand the characters.
