Thoughts on Nasu? Like him? Hate him? Is Fate his magnum opus?
He's the best we'll ever have
He got lazy and hacky several grail war iterations ago
>>283475634He started milking his biggest hit Instead of continuing to innovate, which was the correct choice from a financial point of view but sucks in terms of content quality
>>283475634I just want tsukihime remake
>>283475634Hollow Ataraxia was his magnum opus.>"In the end, that pain was the joy of living.">Don't go. Wait.>"Angra Mainyu. This world was your dream. If continuing the Holy Grail War was my wish, then these peaceful ordinary days were...">NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>>283476577The Tsukihime remake I wanted wouldn't have all the dumb multiverse shitJust give me Girl's Work and the end of DDD so I can rest in peace
>>283476669HA is great but F/SN is a million times better.
>>283476069He tried to innovate several times (Mahoyo, DDD, Extra Record) and none of it has succeeded. Fate keeps him and Takeuchi alive and well, so it's what Type Moon produces now.
>>283476762no
>>283475784>>283476069This.He actually was pretty good and very creative but in the end money won.
Imagine if this is the HF we got
>>283475634I like him fine but he doesn't really write the same anymore.
>>283475634I haven't followed his recent works and FGO isn't as good as gachafags try to claim it is, but I like all of his big works except Mahoyo, which I will read soon (KnK, Tsukihime and F/SN). Regardless of whether or not he's just after the money now, his past works still remain and are pretty good, so I don't care. He can make all the money he wants as far as I'm concerned.
>>283476669LB6 is his magnum opus.
>>283476965fuck off and die, gacha paypig
FGO keeps Type-Moon afloat and makes him free to do what he wants after stepping back
>>283477224"What he wants to do" is play video games in this caseNasu made it, becoming a billionaire meet
>>283475634Fate is just amwf propaganda.>FSN has female king Arthur give her virginity to a Japanese high school boy>Medea instantly forgets her marriage to the Greek hero Jason to get bred by a Japanese kungfu wobbly fist master>Medusa gets wet thinking about Japanese dick>Tohsaka ancestor implied to have married and impregnated an Edelfelt Sister from the 3rd Grail War>Kotomine's white wife literally dies trying to fix him>FZ has a prestigious German family hire a Japanese mage to impregnate their crown jewel, he also happens to have a devout assistant who happily serves as his stress relief>FApoc has the queen of ancient kingdom fall in love with a literallywho Japanese>FE has a Roman empress fall in love with a Japanese boy>FGO goes hard with this, Japanese teenager/college student/shota is sought after by female knights, goddesses, witches, queens/empresses, etc.
>>283475634I miss old Type Moon and old Nasu.
>>283476965This. Tsukihime remake was also really good. I think Nasu is actually getting better with time.
I just learned that Chaos was removed from Tsukihime Remake
>>283477381my dude, it's been years
>>283477329The last two sentences...
>>283477389I only read the original this year.
>>283477285Ha. Yeah that's all true, fuck fate is cool
>>283476965I couldn't stomach enough of fgo to make it to lb6, but from the writing and pacing prior (I made it to lb2) and how the gameplay is implemented, I can not believe that what you said is true.
I dunno about Nasu, but "pure" VNs are so boring and slow... I would rather read a light novel, at least then I wouldn't have wait while characters are yapping about beautiful moonlight beams reflected from a blade or something like that for 20 minutes in a row.
>>283477486You can just not listen to the audio, you know. It just takes a click. Light novel don't offer multiple endings and, unless they series has already finished, could be put on hiatus constantly forcing you into a hellish limbo that makes you wish you hadn't discovered the series in the first place.
>>283477461The writing quality in FGO has been a fucking rollercoaster (at least when it comes to gacha mobage, those usually have story be at the bottom of their effort allocation) but LB6 was basically a perfect storm for Nasu. Ended up getting to meet an artist they were a huge fan of, agreed to work together for a more elaborate FGO story chapter and then it ballooned up into a huge 3-part main story chapter in comparison to pretty much every other story chapter that game has. It's pretty obvious that he had some huge inspiration for it that caused a complete rewrite (which ended up changing some stuff a whole lot, like LB6's not-Artoria has some stuff that obviously is from the previous iteration of the story that just stands out completely irrelevant to what actually ended up happening).
>>283476965except camelot and lb7 are much better
>>283476577I just want Sacchin route. It's been literally 25 years in the making and I can't take it anymore
like a mollusk
>>283477709>Sacchin routeWhy though? I don't remember her being all that interesting back when I read Tsukihime. I even get lolicons that want an Illya route more desu.
>>283477851Hasn't that been the joke forever at this point?
>>283477875Since before FSN's original release
>>283475634OG Tsukihime is the only good thing he's ever wrote. Akiha is best girl.
>>283479184>Akihashe and her route were good, but the h scenes were too much for me because she never stops calling him her brother which ruins the mood
>>283479313the japs are fucking weird
>>283477365Love Morgan x Artoria Lancer. They even have a son (female) together.
>>283479606incest is grosswould fuck both at the same time thoughnot going to fuck the incest baby
>>283477461Nasu only wrote the big things before LB6, most of them were written by other peopleOnce you see who wrote what you can start to see who the writers you hate are, as there's usually a pattern>Part 1:>Fuyuki: Nasu>Orleans: Higashide>Septem: Sakura>Okeanos: Higashide>London: Sakurai>America: Higashide>Camelot: Nasu>Babylonia: Nasu>Solomon: Nasu>EoR:>Shijuku: Higashide>Agartha: Minase>Shimousa: Sakurai>CCC: Nasu>Salem: Meteo>Part 2:>Prologue: Nasu>Anastasia: Higashide>Götterdämmerung: Sakurai>SIN: Urobuchi >Ooku (3.5): Minase>Yuga Kshetra: Minase>Atlantis: Higashide>Olympus: Sakurai>Scramble (4.5): amphibian >Heian-kyo: Sakurai>Avalon le Fae: Nasu>Tunguska: Sakurai >Traum: Higashide >Nahui Mictlan: Nasu>Ordeal Call:>Papermoon: Minase FGO has pretty much peaked and it's highly likely to end the next 2 years, if not the next year, given the story's pretty much over
