Around a volume or ten or so chapters before, I was still reading this as a comfy cute dragon school girl living a slice of life kind of title. Now, not so much. These conversations really go all the way to its natural, realistic conclusion on what would people (well, people in a school setting) really do if their classmate is a human dragon hybrid. I feel uncomfortable with this genre shift, in all honesty. At least it still has that positive feel of a slice of life genre, although it feels like it's a residue./blog

Like a fight manga, but with talking gauntlets instead. Somehow I feel there's not enough doing stuff and instead we get the "classmate of the arc" who needs to get an in depth talk about how they feel about Ruri's situation. Here's hoping the next arc does something more adventurous with Ruri. Something like her actively exploring her power, or her visiting her dad or somesuch.

I don't know if I'm the only person to comment on this manga with this particular opinion, but I will say my thoughts on the manga.I hate it. The characters are so expressive that it feels forced and fake. It feels like Redditors talking in italics and bold to show that they CARE about the dragon girl. We CARE about you Ruri. You're NOT alone. And they're like wow golly jee wheepers you can breathe fire?! It feels like a millennial wrote this manga to try and relate to youngsters, but fails in every aspect.I hate this shallow manga please let it be axed.
