>>283478710>Last Chapter>Those NNNIGGHASWow, someone's angry because of the cancellation.
>>283478864she cute
>>283479012deepest lore
>>283479095Didn't expect Taira to get a character development haircut after the timeskip. Is that a scar next to his temple from the final match?
>>283478700Ping pong peril?More likePing pong perish
That's it for the series boys.Disappointed it was axed but not really surprised.
for the U19 edit remember to replace hakutaku here with ekiden bros since it didn't get one
I blame noone in jap like Ping Pong
>>283479334nips do like ping pong though
>>283479273Someone did one for Ekiden last week.
We deserved 200 chapters of intergalactic ping-pong that ascends to alternate timeline ping-pong and multiversal ping-pong.The string theory is just the threads of a net.
>>283479246IT'S NOT FAIRRRRR
>>283479460I fully believe we would've gotten to the point of entire planets being used as a ping pong balls had the manga ran long enough.
>>283479453post it
Man, I haven't seen a U19er in a while. Still though, why the fuck did Jump greenlight this in the first place. It's a Manga focusing on PING PONG. That's way too much of an indoor sport too make interesting for a 100 chapters or more. You can sci-fi, you add Kengan/Baki logic, but at the end of day it's still Ping Pong, an indoor sport. It's not gonna reach the same highs as something like the Prince of Tennis ESPECIALLY considering the art wasn't all that high quality for a sports manga.

>>283479680Huh? Have you even read this? The matches don't need to take place outdoors, the last two matches both took place outside.
>>283479659
He should ask Konmai to write Yugioh sequelKonmai currently desperate for new anime
If you search 片岡先生 on twitter, there's a lot of comments supporting Kataoaka because of his comment.
>>283478700Gentlemen, it's been a Ping Pong Pleasure.
>>283478764>momo and I were dreaming ofGee Mutsuki, did you have the government rewrite laws so you can marry two siblings?
>>283478864Vamola, what are you doing here? Dandadan is a Jump Plus manga.

>>283478943I know the manga had its controversial moments and that the author is salty for being cancelled, but I think he went too far this time.
>>283481047She's a billionaire with a rocket company. They're allowed to 'Roman Salute'. The Anti-Defamation League said so.
>>283478764>TFW no billionaire flat gf
>>283479620The universe was their table. Said so last week.
>>283479036In a better timeline this would be chapter 100and lead to the creation of PPP Z

Here's a collection with all the art Yoshiharu has posted on his twitter account at https://x.com/YK_03103https://files.catbox.moe/4n5tpp.zipHe didn't post a lot, but he has some nice drawings of when he was an assistant for Fabricant 100 and a bunch of original art, plus the clean manga panels of PPP he posted every week.I seriously hope he's given another chance soon. The guy is really creative with his jokes and action sequences, and knows how to make dynamic panels better than most artists in his generation.
>>283479680Ping pong has always been the more entertaining sport, fatty. Fuck Tennis. Every game is the same shit.
He should just bite the dust and made something base on thing that hip and cool like nowLike Video Game. or Card GameA fucking monster capture would make this shit instant hit
>>283481693I think he could make a more traditional battle shonen or even romcom and still make it stand out with his sense of style and imagination. It'd be a safer bet than trying to write something around a niche.
>>283482038Excellent work anon, make sure to post it in /wsj/.
>>283478700GENTLEMEN IT'S BEEN AN HONOR, WE GOT TO GO TO SPACE SO WE HAVE ZERO REGRETS>>283479246OUR FINAL (PING PONG) BATTLE IS JUST GETTING STARTED!!!
>>283482074sure. I've just noticed I left a white smear on the 4chan screencap in first panel, so the version I've posted in /wsj/ is fixed
>>283481693I think he can write a tcg. He has made board games apparently. He needs to improve his art before his next serialisation.
>>283482344I liked the art in PPP. The girls looked cool.
ppp trending
>>283482344I remember the project you're talking about, I'm pretty sure that was just a board game he contributed art to. Designing an actual board game is a whole different skillset. I wouldn't say he needs to improve his art necessarily, I think he's actually very technically skilled, especially for creating manga, it's more that he needs to pick an art style that appeals more to the average Jump reader (if he's going to keep trying to serialize here). The author of Someone Hertz did the same thing and it worked out for him.

>>283482637I hope he doesn't change his artstyle for the worse though. The guy doing himaten right now used to have a really nice art.
>>283482876Personally I agree, I don't mind PPP's art style. But if he has to tweak it to find success, I can live with that.
>>283479246I hope Saito is cursed with ping pong ball sized kidney stones for the rest of his days. It wasnt the best thing ever, but it was creative and had soul. Above all else it was fun even if it was a bit on the shallow end. Super unfortunate
>>283482710Neat, this seems useful, thanks!
>>283482038Nice.
>>283479979>KaedegamiIt still hurts bros. Besides the big-tittied God of War, the premise was interesting enough, what's wrong with japs
PPP but GOOD.
>>283478710Translator missed the joke here. The title of the chapter is "Those Who Keep Fighting", the last words of the chapter, but in the raws it's obscured by Taira's speech bubble, leaving only the first word. They did the same here, but then left the title as just "those" on the website and didn't give enough space for the rest of the title to fit behind the bubble.
>>283478982Someone watched too much TTGL as a kid
>>283482344>>283482637I think his art is fine for the sort of goofy action manga he was making. What I think he's missing is a stronger sense for characterization, the antagonists felt like they needed more build-up, and even Taira could have used some extra pathos as the MC. This could have been a consequence of having the axe over his head though, and for a U19 series I think Yoshiharu put together a remarkably cohesive story.
A manga too good for this world...Looking forward to whatever he does next.
>>283479246Man, this was absolutely better than the three new series we're getting, such a shame.
>>283487369I somewhat agree, but I'm hesitant to criticize it for that because the way Jump pushes authors to rush through the early stages of their manga is absolutely retarded, and I don't blame them for certain aspects suffering as a result. I think what would've helped is a better opponent in chapter 1 (I liked every opponent except for the debt collector, he was forgettable), and introducing a rival character after the bathhouse match, rather than jumping to the rank up match. It seems the coach was always intended to be the main rival, and that's fine too, just have them play earlier and have Taira lose the match so they can rematch later.
