I just notice that Heiji is placed in physical danger in majority of his appearances so far. He's going to be kidnapped and confined in an attic, surrounded by a gang of bandits, and shoved overboard from a cruiser in future cases too. It's like the cases with his involvement are usually high stake, but because Conan is a a kid, Heiji takes on the action part.
