Sorry to sound like an idiot, but why are people so upset that the anime will be going down to 26 episodes next year?Egghead arc alone we've had an idiotically placed 6(?) month hiatus so Toei could dbz kai the fishman arc, 10 recap episodes, at least 4 just plain break weeks, and we've only had 22 episodes since the return in april, realistically compared to previous years we're likely only losing around 14 episodes, meanwhile Oda keeps needing to take health related breaks, and mandatory off weeks set in place by JUMP which further narrow the gap between chapter production and anime adaptation.The loss of episodes is minimal, and the reduced stress of constantly needing to stay ahead of an anime that's routinely breathing down his neck may be what's best for Oda overall health and decaying eyesight and just might insure his heart doesn't explode from the inside out like Miura's did.
