Sakura has enough moments throughout the series to show us how really egotistic she is. She ignores the opinions of other people (Naruto AND Sasuke very much included) when she has set het mind in some direction, and then she "rhino"s towards her current goal over the heads of everyone else unfortunate enough to stand in her way. She ignores Naruto when she wants to kill Sasuke, because she also ignores Sasuke when she wants him to come back to her specifically - let's be honest, it's quite hard to quote her anywhere saying (read: thinking) that she wanted Naruto to do something for the sake of Naruto, OR Sasuke to do something for the sake of Sasuke. It's always coming full circle to what SHE wants and thinks "must be done" at the moment. Including her "battle tactic/strategy", too - her moment against Madara is a great example of "me, myself, and my ego", when she thinks of absolutely nothing but "I'm so gonna SHOW THEM what I AM NOW", only for her to AGAIN get one-shot-down and almost killed, AND forcing them to abandon everything in order to SAVE her ass. The same happened against Mini-Juubis, by the way (and I must add that Sakura is THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS SAVED FROM THEM BY SOMEONE ELSE out of all the Rookies, OTHERS were perfectly FINE dealing with their own Mini_J's). She tends to get overly reckless BECAUSE she's overconfident, not so much because she has bad strategies. She simply uses "me and myself" too much as the FOCUS, which quite predictably always bites her in the ass, because, well, she's NOT Kaguya (not that THAT is a high measure stick, lol).
