I went to see the movie for a second time. Yep, it's still KINO. Only thing that stood out to me this time round, more so than before, was the sounddesign in the quiet scenes with Reze and Denji. Her shifting in her seat in the cafe, for example, you can hear the fabric of her clothes and it really helps bring the characters to life. Also the way Reze's VA delivers some of her lines in breathy whispers. Everything in the first half feels incredibly intimate, so hats off to whoever was in charge of sound design.This time I was by myself, and I had time to kill before the film started, so I went to a nearby shop and bought a four pack of chilled beer. I don't know why I don't always just do that, it costs less than a bucket of popcorn from the theatre. I hate theatres these days, the prices are stupid, but you're an idiot for falling for buying their shit I guess.

Denji doesn't love anyone. You could say that he loved Asa but it's not true, he has an attachment from spending time with her. He still wanted to rape her in exchange for helping out Yoru. Even when Asa was in such despair she would rather die. He still would go after Fumiko when she looked like easy pussy. Not even talking about trying to join the church of himself so he could have girls to fuck.
