Just watched this recently and it was pretty damn good. A refreshing break from the Isekai and shounen slop that's saturating the media nowadays. 9.9/10 would Reccomend. Matter of fact I would place this top 5 in female protagonist anime even over Violet Evergarden because it's actually interesting.

I heard this was a good robot girl anime, should i check it out

>female protagonist
>robot
This is how they get away with writing female characters like a man.

Very much so, this anime waste no time whatsoever, I was hooked within the first 5 minutes, there's gore, there's action, there's robowaifu romance and much more. Ending was great but the post credits scene was a bit odd, however the Wikipedia page provides context for it.

Yes and and it works so well

Now read the superior novels
>>
rezero fans hyping everything the author does as expected
>>
I liked Vivy irrespective of the rezero author being involved in it.
In fact, I watched Vivy before I ever watched rezero.

this is how they get away with making my dick uncontrollably hard

It's basically if Miku was a fighting robot as well as an idol. I really enjoyed it

Op here, I personally didn't watch re:Zero past Season 1, which I thought was OK, but I didn't find the series compelling enough to continue it
>>
Liked the premise and was hooked, but ending was a let down for me both plotwise and how it resolves the theme. It does stand out with how scarce scifi is in anime these days

I wish Wit still made original anime
Loved Vivy and Kabaneri

The OST is really great, was listening to it today actually.

ummmmm, no i think it was pretty awful actually
honestly i can't quite remember why, dropped at episode 4, marked 5/10.

Vivy was boring and stupid.

Diva on the other hand was awesome but died after a single episode.

Hmm Carabinieri had 2 really fantastic first episodes but lost its steam a little bit afterwards.

Found it again in the movie but I don't think anyone cared about this (it was really nice).

Japan has a hard time with scifi for some reason

I did enjoy this a lot good style and aesthetic. Main criticism would be how the evil AI course corrected in the background while Vivy and the cube did their mission to change things. Made things feel like a lot of what happened didn’t really matter, despite the point the anime tells you is those experiences are what let Vivy come up with and sing the song at the end.
Felt like they could have come up with something better than it just causing the exact same result to happen with the robots.

You didn't hear this from me, but there may or may not have been a new Wit original that was very bad.

I hated re:zero and if I knew that when I watched this however many years ago, I probably would have blacklisted it.

Yes. Totally agree. The ending was so safe and smooth it was kind of boring.
>>283608581
I watched season 1, really liked it. Watched season 2, hated it most of the way though. I never watched like the last two episodes. It was really poorly structured and written.

No they won't.
The best mankind will manage (if at all) to do is to send automated seed ships that would build new humans wholecloth from the materials and elements of the other world, with no traces of earth dna whatsoever, while the ship computer oversees the production and survivability of the not-!humans, making them homunculi closer to an android than to a homo sapiens.
And that's assuming that future earth people would even bother wasting resources on something that they themselves will never ever get to benefit from in any way or shape.
Or that we could really build self-sufficient smart thinking machines that will still obey their directives from more than a millennia ago.

You're like a child. I don't care for Re:Zero and the writer is just part of a team. I just like Vivy and that's all that matters

Always wanted the blurays but its over $100 bucks
>>

It was nice but it was just as retarded as any isekai out there.
>>
>>283606680
I loved the mix of singing robutt waifus. The 100 year journey part also really worked well to show how the accumulation of memories brought Vivy closer to being human and answering her question. There's something melancholy about seeing the world change and all the people around her age. The ending may have been predictable but it delivered on what I came to expect and want. The final song hits harder after all those meetings and partings over her life. I sometimes think of that last scene where she's breaking down and the very last memory is of that audience applause on that small stage. It was a great way of showing how a small mundane thing could be just as precious as those big life changing encounters.

For anyone who ends up watching it, make a mental note of whenever Vivy's light flashes red.
>>
>>283607471
I watched this and had no idea it was written by the same guy.
I didn't love it. Rezero is more interesting to me then this was iirc.
>>
>>283619652
I did watch it but remind me of what the light meant.

It turns red during significant moments like when something deeply moves her or when her emotions evolve. There's also a significant moment where the light doesn't turn red in the final episode.
