>>283615103I'm five episodes in and I'm getting a better feel for the lore and shit. BUT: I don't give a shit about any of the characters. Mostly because none of the characters are anything more than a rank and a class. The only goals the story has so far is: i want to get stronger and find a way home, so most of what happens in an episode is shit he has to do for his job that he'd rather not be doing. I think way too much time is spent on action sequences that could be going to adding characterization.The animation is fine, but it's not really my style, as most of the backgrounds just look like high-end CGI and people's expressions are always stiff/subdued.I suppose this cartoon is all about leveling up, just with a occult coat of paint on it, but ti doesn't even revel in the powers much. Quite baffling.
