I've read up to volume 14 (end of Space Invasion Arc) and while the first arcs and specific moments were done well, I'm just not very fond of the author's approach to make it wacky and lol so random without any sort of substance to back it up and after a while it started feeling very repetitive. Reading something similarly wacky but with better character writing and actual depth behind the absurdity like Soul Eater around the same time made me realize it's character writing isn't particularly special either.
