Assuming that Thriller Bark is a piece of God Valley, it's curious that Ganzui, John, and Bastar are still alive at this point in the flashback. Everyone is already leaving, so something happens that ends up killing a bunch of them. Maybe Garling and the Jobber Knights do a sweep, but Imu's words while possessing Saturn imply that he's going to bring destruction to the island beyond the damage that's already been caused by the fighting (Buster Call, Uranus, etc). I also think that Roger and Garp won't be able to completely kill Rocks, and with the island getting wiped off the map his corpse won't be around for anyone to verify his death with.
