It also has an amazingly terrible cost-cutting "dream episode" in the middle you have to see to believe, and if your tolerance for love triangles is very low you may want to test the waters first. DYRL is beautiful and more streamlined, but also loses and dumbs down some of those uniquely unusual bits the main series has; it feels like an in-universe blockbuster movie made about the events of the original series.They're a lot of fun. Well worth watching both.
