Just finished watching Turn A last night (I know, be mad at me), now I'm just curious about all the series that lead up to it? Should I just watch all Universal Century series? Can I skip any of them?Do I need to watch any Alternate Universe series to understand the references?Thanks anons.

As for AUs, there's like one reference to Wing and that's it. Most of the direct references in the show are just suits from UC, like not-Zaku, not-Kapule, not-Baund Doc and not-Zssa
>>283626116Gundam is just an endless cycle of people learning lessons only for the next set of people to never carry them over and have to relearn the same fucking lesson again and repeat that endlessly while weapons continue to advance so it just ends up causing an apocalypse via moonlight butterfly. Then people continue to commit the same mistakes except once again in smaller scale due to no access to hyper advanced weapons until they unearth mobile suits again and we get back into the cycle. It showcases the tragedy of mankind's myopia.
