Does P.A. Works deserve credit for at least trying to create original TV anime even if most of them are mediocre to decent at best?
They deserve credit for being better and producing more original anime than Trigger who crossboarders fellate like the second coming of Christ when they are the most overrated studio in history.

I will say that the deeper you delve into the hobby the more you appreciate anime originals. If a series has a manga then either I've already read the manga or some cunt will spoil it somehow. With anime originals you don't have to worry about all that and it's nice. So yes they deserve some credit, even if some of their stuff is pretentious shit
I wish their recent Alice in Wonderland movie was a TV series instead.
To be honest even if they aren't objectively good most of those anime in the image nailed the emotional aspects imo.

Angel Beats, Shirobako, and maybe Buddy Daddies are the only PA Works originals I have ever liked, the rest are just bad. That immortal blonde loli movie was okay too. Koumei and Mikadono Sisters were the only adaptations from them that I actually enjoyed. Their hit to miss ratio is abysmal.
