Naruto/Sasuke friendship was always forced no matter what characters in universe and fans say. There’s a reason he had to make them reincarnations to justify Nardo’s weird obsession. What’s a shame is that Hashirama and Madara had a more convincing bond despite only 6 chapters together while Nardo/Sauce was the entire story
