Every single one of those major cities has a center where you would find the most famous stuff that is basically the ''heart'' of the city. Tokyo doesn't work like that, being so massive, it's more like an amalgamations of different towns like Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Akiba etc: everyone of them has a different feeling compared to the other. I'm not saying Tokyo is anyway bad or that I don't like to visit it, but Osaka is just better in this as every part of it from Dotonbori to Shinsekai still feels like ''Osaka''. It's just a matter of personal preference
I'm surprised it didn't end up going more into historical roles = murderer and culprits.
