So what I meant by taking offense to suicide in Tomino works last thread is that for someone who directed Zambot 3, a show explicitly about the destruction caused by war and with several episodes about how bad suicide bombers are, the shows he directs sure do like having characters commit unnecessary kamikaze runs despite how that was also one of the big sins of Japan during the war.

25 episodes into Aquarion. I'm shocked at how this show isn't really rushing itself too much...mostly. The "humans are dicks too" deal should've gotten a bit more screentime and people should be utterly loathing Jerome.Also shocked at how understandable the big heel-turn ended up being, from the way I heard about it I expected it to be something out of nowhere with nonsense logic behind it rather than a natural and predictable character turn.
