Domu is also probably the most useful pure earth jutsu in the series until you get to that one Iwa dude who makes a mountain around the Juubi. It would've been incredibly useful later on and it always seemed like a waste that for how much of the fight is Kakuzu vs. Kakashi, the latter never copies anything from the fight.

The anime and games certainly elevated the material, but it could only elevate what he originally created himself (and editors)
