When he KO'd FM it was a kick that FM perceived as light speed so it makes sense that his ultimate power is being really fucking fast with his kicks. EC doesn't have anything obvious about the fight that makes the reaction he got from Tomohawk and Beatdown make sense. The only clue I can think of is his last flashback where he enters some kind of super-state when actually put on death's door. But that doesn't line up with his fight against VI as EC was lucid and talking even after he got up.
