Even with low episode counts the stories are meandering around and you get characters, subplots and worldbuilding that eventually end up serving no purpose. It might not be perfect, but it's miles above TnY, Metallic Rouge or "Pirate" Princess Fena (in which the eponymous pirates played no relevant role and got blown off half-way in).I fail to grasp why they have even chose this setting here aside from using it as an excuse to make robo-Akira wake up in a time that's disconnected to his real self's past to prevent him from asking others what's up with him post-coma.

>>284074052No it's not. That's called a proper planned-out story. Most big twists are obvious from the beginning, especially when it comes to sci-fi where basically everything imaginable has been done in one way or another, the point is how it affects the characters in the story.
