>>284086529I've been thinking about dropping Kutsuzure Sensen here when my winter holidays start, would you like it anons? It has guns, communism, yuri and a bureaucratic humor with fantasy elements very similar to The Hero, the dragon and the courier. I think /a/ would like if they give it a try....
>>284098079Go for it
>>284098079the nazi elf one? It's great fun. You could also go for The Unwomanly Face of War, it's legit nice and done by a yuri artist.Don't know if it's in English tho

>>284086529The Eastern Front from the Soviets' perspective is quite literally the most epic and kino thing that has ever happened. I think about it all the time. It even by complete accident and chance has excellent narrative structure across the whole war. Historians literally divide it into three very different stages for the purposes of understanding it. It just happens to have an actual 3 act structure and denouement and even this dlc in Manchuria. Everything about it has the grandeur and horror and scale and awe of ancient mythology while also being so real and visceral and down in the dirt. Its incredible
>>284091152Reminds me of the Simo Haya manga that not only turned him into a chick but a witch while adding a bunch of magic shit. Like you'd think a >One man army fighting off an unstoppable tide of enemies and WINNING manga would appeal to people but noooooo

>>284099248>The Eastern Front from the Soviets' perspective is quite literally the most epic and kino thing that has ever happened. The first Soviet mission in Cod:World at War is forever burned in my memory. >>284094918the OUN-B were the good guys
>>284099339Aw fuck, mistaken identity. It happens. Pardon me, anon, I fucked up. >>284099395WoW is kinda crappy if compared to CoD2. It's frankly refreshing that the Soviet campaign in CoD2 is early war and devoid of.... "movieism". Of course, everything is goddamn art compared to whatever came later.

>>284086529Shoot The Enemy is such a delightfully retarded name.
Damn, Groundless has some competiton now. I did read Comrade Girls, it does feel like a novel adaptation which it is, and I quite like it. The manga doesn't really shy away from the reality that most Soviet Russian neighbours hated them very much and they are just working with eachother because of a bigger enemy, and how misogyny is a thing in military life, etc.
