>>284097314I was initially resistant, but my friends made me watch Scissor Seven and I'm now definitely an apologist... at least for season 1. They then turned it into le epic edgy chinese powerlevel battle shounen instead of being a surprisingly funny and endearing comedy, completely ruining its unique identity for me. There are some good episodes after S1 like the cuck episode in (S2?) but they only really work for me because they capture what made the first season so great. I miss its amateurish soul.
