His presence has fucked up so much stuff, I truly believe he was not in the initial plans for Omega and Sandro forcefully crammed him in like a child with superman syndrome forcing a square block through a round hole.The worm plot began back in Asura and there's not a single part of it that makes sense now that we know Shen is the leader. The worm stuff falling apart causes ripples in the story that affect several characters. As an example why did Naidan force Ryuki to kill him? Why would Shen give a fuck?Tiger Niko was hyped even further back in Asura and it was all for naught because ever since Shen appeared Niko has been portrayed as a chump bitch. It started with the Kiryu fight which we could have excused with a little bit of copium but having Niko shit himself at the mere presence of Shen sealed it. I could go on and on about this, especially with regards to the tigers vessel actually referring to Shen but I'll restrain my sperging. Mukaku was another character hyped during Asura that got wasted thanks to him. Some people would call turning the legendary fighter into an underhanded petty asshole a good subversion of the usual tropes, I call it hot garbage.The last thing I'll mention is how he has fucked the scaling up completely. Power scaling is gay if you're trying to argue who in all of fiction can defeat Goku but this is a fighting manga, there needs to be some form of measuring who is stronger. You need to justify why one character can beat another. That's all gone now since Shen introduced principles, Sandro has completely absolved himself of having to explain why Shen can one tap every high tier fighter without breaking a sweat. He just can. At least Yujiro gets some pseudoscience bullshit to accompany his glazing, here we get nothing. I hate him so fucking much.

(Handing the letter writing off to her, all the Castellas, feeding Higuchi info for the matchmaker god thing, etc.)
