It's very personal. I understand why most people might dislike it, but it felt so personal that I was fully immersed to the point of getting angry for a whole day irl because of some of the stuff that I saw. I think that if a media makes me feel something, it's good. Punpun gave me a lot of bad feelings like anxiety, sadness and angriness. I'll never read it again, but I can say it safely that it's my favorite manga and possibly in my top 3 media of any kind.
