This thread isn't about kuuderes specifically, but can anyone explain the cultural reason that Japanese people think not giving a shit is the coolest thing ever? We see it a lot, like with Sakamoto and Dante other names aren't coming to my head right now and it's something I really don't get.This might be a massive generalization, but I think in western countries, cool characters tend to be ones that are personable, proactive, excited about the stuff going on, and down to earth.
