I really liked this chapter, as any sort of battle series this died for me in chapter 3 when the girls growth was too fast and then chapter 4 killed the one potential out to that with being able to summon other big things as well but there's still a lot of potential on stuff like this, being the new Chojo

Best chapter so far. I knew from the first chapter that the author is better at SoL comedy than at action gags. Maybe his editor finally realized it as well and stopped pressuring the author into making another Mashle/Sakamoto.

>>284147460I'm fine with the enemy mages being super serious but when you introduce the MC with "He's the best wizard ever with thousands of spells" then any fight should be at most him getting stumped for a few seconds and pulling out some bullshit like "Spell that removes stains from carpet" to somehow instantly win because it deletes the 20 foot tall trash golem the other mage summoned and then played for laughs.
