In our case the game draws characters, not glyphs.The problem stems from what I believe to be:1) The game not grabbing the correct fonts.If you open the console, you'll see two errors relating to fonts:E sys_fs: 'sys_fs_open' failed with 0x80010006 : CELL_ENOENT, “/dev_flash/data/font/SCE-PS3-RD-B-LATIN.ccd” [1]E sys_fs: 'sys_fs_open' failed with 0x80010006 : CELL_ENOENT, “/dev_flash/data/font/SCE-PS3-NR-B-JPN.ccd” [1]It might look a bit scary if you're not familiar with programming in general, but it can be dumbed down to "sys_fs_open failed to load the SCE-PS3-RD-B-LATIN.ccd and SCE-PS3-NR-B-JPN.ccd system fonts".2) Generally weird code?I won't get too technical, but the rendering calls looks a tad bit weird if you go step by step in the RPCS3 debugger or if you look at the decompile from IDA Pro. This mostly causes some other issues with the game, but it's worth mentioning regardless.This game has a lot of copies of stuff for some reason (especially assets), so I wouldn't be surprised if the emulator has issues with correctly rendering the font because of some weird quirk, but that's basically why WSWa runs weird in general.
