I think A-ranks will have the upper hand for most engagements until B-ranks whip out their custom trion soldiers. Trion soldiers also make Operators even higher value targets because without them you can't access your troops. Also what kind of genocide bots do we think Osamu cooked up? I can see a moment in the battle where he's commanding a whole host of trion soldiers from everyones squads to fuck with A-rank.

>>284239522It's not his style, he's more of a black ops captain than shock troops, and more about specializing than handling multiple tools. Osamu genuinely sucks at quick thinking, he's really not qualified for this sorta thing when you really need to process stuff on the line. That's one of the qualitis that sets him apart from the typical shonen protagonist who often sucks at mid term planning, but is very clever at the "in the moment, out of the box" decisions to get their opponents to drop their guard down. All the greatest Osamu's victories came down to one pre-planned cheese.

In regards to Chika and Nino nuking the clustered A-rankers: We've repeatedly seen people just shooting down the bullets from air and they've got enough shooters on their side to manage that. I don't think artillery will play much of a role here.What it could achieve is make the A rank's approach coverless, stymieing it unless they want to eat sniper fire through the whole approach.

>>284243518It's hard to know exactly how good the As are/how much of a step up they are, especially considering Kage/Nino have been beaten before by generic B squads albeit rarely. I wouldn't be surprised if some As job (Katagiri squad is my pick), but then you have Tachikawa squad who are pretty much the best. One I'm most excited for is still Fuyushima squad though. Those niggas have TWO fucking members, one of whom is a sniper, and the other doesn't even 'fight' normally, and yet are still rank 2.

The rabbit trick only works to reposition in an environment where you won't get shot down and requires you to both have an expensive rabbit at your starting point and be able to leave it behind. The power behind this tactic is that all of A rank did it to coordinate a rapid push. Taichi just simply cannot do that. No one but his squad started with his soldiers. But he is doing what he can by distributing them. And they will continue to provide mobility in pretty much any normal combat situation. Whereas the rabbits will mostly lose that functionality once the fighting starts.
