While I will admit Modulo is pretty well written and I am generally liking the story developments, gotta say, is this really the direction for the story of JJK to be concluded as? Think back on what got you interested about JJK and being invested enough to keep reading. How the story started off about learning how there's these Cursed Spirits no one except Sorcerers can see and deal with them, how we follow a naive boy who gets involved and unintentionally awakened the most infamous Curse User from his slumber, then we see all kinds of unique Curse Techniques and the struggles our heroes face to keep the peace and improve their skills to face rising threats...And then now its become a political story about immigration with barely any "sorcerer fighting" that the series. Even that earlier chapter about some "cursed spirit shark" turned out to be an actual tiger out of its natural habitat so they shouldn't really blame it for its actions i.e. another immigration analogy. So far the only actual "sorcerer fights" we've had were against a fucking old man.There's also the fates of the characters from the original JJK series that out a damper on the initial pretty hopeful/happy ending for them. So Yuji went from being able to save most of his friends and looking like he was about to have a happy married life with Yuko, to now being a guy who's cursed to not fulfill his grandpa's wish to die among friends since he outlives them and is also ghosting any remaining ones still around. Nobara seems to have failed to actually marry anyone despite one of her desires to find a boyfriend. Remains to be seen if Megumi will have gotten a good ending or will he also turn out to be miserable, presuming he married Hana its possible he died before her. Even though Yuta and Maki seemingly had a fulfilling life, their legacy is still a smear to them since their direct kids didn't respect their last wishes.What im saying is, should this really be connected to JJK?
