Centuria is straightforward shounen. Tower Dungeon is lighthearted comedy in a dark setting. Couldn't get into Drifting Dragons. Bugle Call is really seinen (yeah shounen pub) and is hard carried by really good characters and character interactions more than anything. The world building kinda sucks for the first few chapters (how the fuck are Ramus not well known for mercs). But Bugle Call is one of the few manga where I actually remembered the names of characters consistently from the start.

The Rami squad got slowly developed after the Mirror arc, remember there was a whole Demi chapter, Miura also got the spotlight, etc.

The Papal States honestly have a really good setup going with a veritable force with a Ramus squad, especially because Lucas now has an AoE so they can't simply beat them with a larger army like earlier in the series. They basically have to crutch on Akira and Kayano to beat them because Akira is broken and can stop Zoe and Kayano has her own AoE to wipe out the Papal forces. In fact they can't lose with the pair of them which is why they've been building up Kayano like this because she will refuse to genocide her own people by meteoring the capital and it's going to make Akira and her go rogue.

So all they have to do is fight a defensive war around the capital (with Lucas out of range enough)

If there isn't a post-Empire arc involving the Druids/Papal states I'm going to be really disappointed (and it looks like there won't be). We've also yet to actually see much of the insides of a tower aside from the terminal room when the Pope's buddy gave ownership.
