It's understandable to want something that breaks you away from the drudgery of daily life, but I think some creatives go off the deep end and just assume the world is bad because you have to actually work and be responsible as opposed to getting a harem of elves. It's not like I'm opposed to getting a harem, but everyone around me not some moral less game piece just because they're trying to get by.
