>>284399440People like to tell you that manga is the property and vision of the creator. This is bullshit. The creator doesn't really plan out his story that far or as freely as you think. Frankly they're generally the bitch of their editor and whatever they're told to write they will if they want to stay published. This means loss of vision, having to change your pacing, potentially having to cut your story short or stretch out something you had no real idea about. It often feels like it was something planned in hindsight but generally it's going chapter to chapter by the seat of its pants.
