Assholes did a full restoration of the diacon 3 and 4 film but held it captive in japan only showing it at select conventions. nah fuck that, if they dont have the balls to release a restoration to the public then I'll do it my fucking self. On my last trip to Japan i found a film print of daicon 3 at the thrift store. Yes, unlike 4 which was only sold on laserdisc at the actual 4th daicon, 3 had a film release ath the third daicon. Very limited I was very lucky to find it. Now the corpos that hold onto the long since rotten cock of gainax cant cuck us anymore by holding both hostage. >>284423350You must be mistaken, the restoration was made when gainax became in name only and it was just a carcass left alive as a charity and archival project, it was made not by gainax but a new DAICON FILM specifically so that the shorts and clips of them can be shown mainly at exhibitions about Hideaki Anno(I was there so I saw It), DAICON FILM, which is an archival entity for Anno and company´s college days projects basically, is most likely still going to be claiming ownership of the shorts while avoiding showing at events much footage that involves the messy copyrights of characters appearing in them.So nothing has changed today.
