Let's begin. The girls are checking their ledger, remarking how this job will be the last, only 105k yen left to pay their debts.The job takes place at "Daikichi Department Store" during a general bargain sale. At the same time, we learn that there's a rumor of a "kaijin (humanoid monster)" that stalks the store and drags you to an alternate dimension connected to the store.As for the job details, it's the usual retail service stuff, but they also have to dispose of cardboard boxes every now and then. Where are these boxes? Everywhere. And they must make sure not to look inside.We then their first shift, with Hama having to hop between several stores and floors as things calm down and busy up around the massive store. She hasn't seen any cardboard boxes anywhere yet, though.Just then, one appears before her, right in the middle of the path. It's so light she wonders what's inside. But Yume stops her before she can look, reminding her of the rule. The inside stinks, apparently. She then teleports behind (read: whooshes) another girl who spotted a cardboard box to tell her the same thing.After that, we focus on the customers fighting over the items on sale. One of them is looking for something in the bottom of a bargain bin, and just as her hand reaches deep inside, another takes hold of her.Later at night, things have calmed down as Hama passes by another employee taking a cardboard box away, but then she trips from exhaustion, accidentally looking inside. She can barely scream before another sound drowns her out. I'm pretty sure it implies she was dragged inside. The box remains, sitting straight up as if nothing was wrong.Finally, we see two kids doing a song and dance, "The Department Store Monster Man is coming", "coming to take us all away". His dialogue(?), which, like the houses, appears in its own panel, just says, "Consume" (as in spend money).
But it doesn't end there. The last thing we see is Yin at Deborah's house. The door is unlocked. Inside we see none other than Charlie, asking if this unexpected guest was there for a condolence call.That's it for now. Next chapter on next Friday.
