Thank you for the wonderful card! I really like the cool colors you used as the backdrop behind Ryuko. I'm a big fan of the first series for Ippo. Can't comment on the later seasons, but I think those first 75 or so episodes are pretty great overall.
How far have you gotten in the anime for One Piece? I've been rewatching it pretty slowly over the last few years and am approaching the climax for Alabasta. If I catch wind of some giant reveal happening, though, or if Eneru shows back up I'll drop everything and catch up with the manga from the beginning.

Turns out my postal service stopped shipping to the US completely because of the tariffs thing, so I had to use a private carrier 10 times more expensive just to get the card sent. I had already bought the candy and everything but at that shipping price it was just not worth it sorry.

My 3d printer isn't the type that does smaller details well, but even with that considered it did turn out bigger than I had pictured in my head. I guess you will just have to get a full size tree. You see, if that were the case, this whole thing would be sensible and not so incredibly infuriating. The real story is much worse.
So after my package not even leaving the country for two weeks, the bright minds at customs deign to give my package a further check, and send it back, with it making the fastest return ever in the history of mankind (suddenly, it's possible to return it overnight when it took almost a week to get to the airport, lol).
I get the package back, and see that there is a UN 3481 label on it. Reason for return: "dangerous goods". For those not in the know, UN 3481 means "lithium ion batteries", like those in laptops and mobile phones, which almost everybody knows cannot be shipped. So how did they determine that? Who the fuck knows. There are no lithium batteries anywhere in there, we're chasing a fucking ghost here.
Absolutely USELESS cretins.
It didn't even seem like they opened it, everything looked like the way it was when I sent it. Not sure they even x-rayed it or did anything at all. They merely glanced at the customs documentation, then some genius slapped the dangerous goods label on it, and then they called it a day.
There is was battery-powered item, to be somewhat fair to them, but I specifically and truthfully wrote "no batteries" and even DHL told me it was fine, but customs didn't think so.
The worst part is that I wasn't contacted and got no chance to remedy this situation at all. No, actually the worst part is all the lost time.
I'm sending this out again to day (with a few items removed, as well as the snacks, just to be sure), but god knows when this will arrive.
Once again, I am so sorry and hope it will reach you this time. You'll hear from me/the Santas.

TD from Germany I was very surprised to see that my first card came all the way from Germany. Even more surprising was seeing Goto and Masayoshi on the cover and yes I love SF! I took it out of my list for some time, cus I never got anything but Ive been so lucky after putting it back. I'm happy to see many SF fans each year.

I had to squint real hard but I kinda see what you meant with Vincent's portrait. In my case, I used to think he had a ponytail.

I think Kotoko is the most adorable lil lady, and even tho the story is not be the best, her interactions with other characters, specially Kuro, make me enjoy the manga/anime greatly. It's one of the few mangas I kept up with.

Years ago, an anon listed he liked penguins so I decided to add my fav animals too (bat, sharks, crows) since they're easy draw, and it worked out cus I've gotten many adorable drawings.

IP from OK I never expected to get one of these cards. I always thought they were hard to read, but after getting one in person, I can now say it's probably the funniest card I've ever received, I read it over and over again.

I didn’t know that Tonakai Stocking is gifting tools from Lidl, poor thing really got the worst of it from the bunch. Your drawing of her and the message are really fun. I agree that she should have gotten more screentime in S2, but maybe that will be fixed in the next run? I did watch PSG way back, but while I loved the characters, I wasn’t a huge fan of every single bodyfluid getting its own episode. Since that was toned down in the recent season I’d say I enjoyed it more, despite the limited Stocking screentime. Very cute Padoru on the back as well!

I’m happy to see that you like the card! I think everybody finds their own style of preparing cards. Many years ago, I too was experimenting around, and I’ve sent my own drawings as well for example.
Since you’ve read the VN you’re basically good to go for anything. Personally, I liked the tsukihime and hollow ataraxia VNs (and maybe extra CCC for hardcore Nasu autism, since you’ve watched last encore), and of course Zero, UBW and the HF movies.

Im currently in the mid part of the 3rd season of ZnT. This is just good solid ecchi fun that doesnt take itself too seriously that i´ve missed. I didnt realize this got so many seasons so I started a wrong season atleast 2 times.

It’s me, Travel anon again. I looked through many different countries postal service websites and they do not require RFC information. I suspect this might be a commercial enterprise problem for them instead of you. I don’t know which company you choose but they are the ones who will profit from mailing the package while both of you suffer in waiting when they decide to transfer it to 3rd parties or something. If you send it through union based mails, you can easily fill out the form and not get scammed.

Thank you so much to MK of CN for the first card of the year! Muvluv was a VN that I'd heard about for a while, but I think it was secret santa in 2022 (2023?) where I told one of my assignees "yeah, I'll totally read it." I have no idea if they're still around, but I finally did! Honestly, if you've made it through Extra, it should be smooth sailing from then on out. Unlimited is a bit of a transitionary story between Extra and Alternative, so you might still have some qualms with that, but it still very interesting with everything it sets up. I hope that you eventually get back to it, because I really did love the trio of games. There is definitely no more lacrosse, for sure, no doubt. I really like the stickers too, since I've got a small little collection of random ones I've bought over the years. I'd say that you don't need to worry about declaring them to get them through customs, but I don't think people over here even know what is going on with small items like those, so it really is just chance.

If I understand that correctly the card has multiple sheets of paper, rolled together in newspaper. Maybe that threw them off, since there should be nothing to declare in that case. Their dialogue is precious and I'm so happy to see Sesshomaru and Jaken together on that beautiful snow-strewn plain. The average /a/non fears drawing the Jaken. He terrifies him. But you are brave. With how charming the art was, I think you should switch to drawing all your cards by hand!

I am really really glad you liked the card. I only realized after sending it that I didn't really color in the background of the card (I had just switched from doing MS paint art to hand drawn) but yes a snowscape was kind of the idea. I was unsure how to portray that on a white card, but looking back I should have done some sort of gray background or something.

The eraser marks by Jaken's head were my idea of giving him reindeer antlers that didn't really pan out after deciding that the hat was part of his iconic look, and the two just didn't go well together.

Fastest shipping I was offered was 2-3 weeks which seemed like plenty of time, but I only JUST got the tracking number for it a few days ago and it just left Japan today.
