Lufas realizes that the one against her the entire time was the goddess, which she realized in her previous life which is why she was eventually killed. And her group of friends all had their memories of the events messed with. The entire story becomes a game of chess between player and untouchable dungeon master who can seemingly control any piece on the board except Lufas or the Zodiacs
