I know that he probably wanted to try something a bit different after hundreds of chapters (and you really can't blame him), but, man, Gosho really was hitting the "who fucking cares"-routine on a lot of cases this last stretch. The details of the cases almost don't matter anymore, it's just set-up, some banter and boom the solution. I also kinda don't dig that he's trying to flesh out all these side characters, having to come up with more and more contrived lore. Plus, all Shinichi seems to do atp is to dish out snippy comments and do the smug face
