Hi all, been debating watching Full Metal for a while now since I read a bit of the manga and was interested, just never got around to it. I see a lot of discourse about how FMA is better then Brotherhood and vice versa but I'm generally confused on what to watch, should I just watch one or should I watch both? which would you guys say is better?

>>284478451probably brotherhood first, its more of an obvious crowd pleaser and ive never met anyone who actively dislikes it. the original is more of an acquired taste but definitely worth it if you enjoy the characters and don't mind a different take on the concept.

>>284478451One thing one could do is watch FMA up to a certain point, then switch to FMA:B for the proper manga ending.Although, you can just watch FMA:B.The thing people say about FMA:B is that the early parts are supposed to not hit as hard as in FMA. Some emotional moments, some turn of events. Since FMA spends more time on these early parts and FMA:B "rushes" through them. I watched FMA:B first and I know people that did that as well, and it still hit them hard. To me, it never felt like things were rushed through. And it's a consistent experience through the whole anime.Watching FMA:B is the simplest thing.

FMA 03 changed too much of the lore because Bones only had 13 chapters to work with at the time.
