the show was obviously animated with a shoestring budget and stitched together with duct tape, bubblegum and hope, but for this level of budget it's shockingly well-made, probably my favorite of this season. Perfect balance of romance, comedy and drama with an excellent way to tie it all together that doesn't feel rushed. Alma was a really well-written robot character with a balance of emotionless dataspeak and cute moe-ness, the mom was a really cute tsundere and the dad had the kino goofy-but-well-meaning dad energy. Really comfy OP as well. Made me really interested in the manga, anybody that has read it?
I need more Yo-jo to live. Is there any anime in the coming season that can fill this void?
