Even too accepting of D when he found his identity. Another thing I think is connected him that goes way back is: how the fuck did an executive like Petrola even get into the ranger HQ? Hibari only let in XX and D come through so how did Petrola somehow get past ALL the Rangers, including the know-it-all Yellow? Only someone with direct access to the inner workings of the Rangers could have pulled it off. It would have most likely been Chidori who worked with him in that arc to pull it off.

Makes me wonder if Negi is a fan of Power Rangers too because the originally planned ending for RPM had the Black Ranger be the final host body for the big bad virus boss and the other rangers would have to take him out in a ground battle but they backed out of it.

The invader winning in the end,maybe it turns out green was an executive all along, maybe death messiah shows up and is defeated, I feel like the end of the battle is going to be green remembering the end of the phantom script right as he dies, and somehow the script matches up right at the end.

The start of this arc felt pretty scattered, and I didn't like the previous two arcs at all, but I've been loving the most recent chapters. I still wish this manga was a bit leaner and less indulgent but I have to give credit that even with a cast this big and fights this messy, the payoffs still hit as hard as they're supposed to.
