>>284523556The one I enjoyed the most was Akiha's, the slightly more SOL aspects did a lot for me, especially off the back of Arc and Ciel's routes. Tsukihime is very weird for me in that I think the characters and concepts are both very good, but the whole thing is just kinda iffy. Still haven't tried Remake, I've heard there are marked improvements.

>>284523556I'd say Kohaku≥Hisui>Arc>Ciel.I've put the Arc route above Ciel's mostly because I can't stand Ciel and, for personal reasons, I could more easily resonate with Arc's route/story than anything else in the game so it's the one I've got the greatest amount of feelings towards. If you asked me what my personal favourite was (only in terms of how emotional it made me) then I might rank it even above the latter two routes, but that's just my personal opinion and, "objectively" speaking, it's definitely not the best one. In fact, in terms of the story, the Ciel route is actually better in pretty much every way, but because I can't stand Ciel it ended up feeling really annoying to read at times. I feel similarly about Kasumi's and Kei's routes in Dies Irae (Kei's route is objectively better in pretty much every way, but because of how much I hate her I still prefer Kasumi's).The last two routes are overall the best routes of the game and the ending of the Hisui route hit me out of nowhere (one of the only times I cried reading a VN).

Hisui is a sweet girl, but there’s a reason she’s usually shafted when it comes to side material or spinoffs. I suppose the question is how you expand on her character without ruining it.
