Episodes like this really show why Ami is so much better than Minori. Minori is constantly running away from things and acting like a suffering saint just because she's a coward, and starts to let it drag down the rest of her life as well. Ami faces reality, and while she'll make her suffering known, she will still get up, keep moving, and not let it drag her down into the dirt. She and Kitamura would be a great fit. With the childhood friend factor too.
